Normal Community High School Class of 1956

This site is dedicated to providing basic information about the class of 1956 at Normal Community High School located in Normal, Illinois. The class consisted of 117 people. Reunions of the class occurred at 10, 20, 30, 35, 40, 50, and most recently 55 years.

Future reunions will be held every five years.

This website was created after the 40th reunion as a means to keep class members updated on what class members are up to. A survey was conducted at that reunion to see how many people are up-to-date on Internet technologies. Unfortunately, only 7% even had an e-mail account and only your webmaster had a Web site. There is reason to believe that there will be continued growth of this class onto the Internet. It may take the grandchildren who increasingly are very computer literate to force our class members to embrace this technology. Many families are being split up across the country and communication via the Internet and the various on-line services may help to keep in touch.
